About Me
Hi there! My name is Gijs. I live a small town in the Netherlands called Sevenum. Like many of my fellow Dutchies I basically grew up with dance music. From the age of 10 I enjoyed listening to cd’s of artists like Tiësto and Armin van Buuren. After following a short DJ course I decided to buy a Pioneer DJ set to get started with playing my favorite tracks in the mix.
Since 2010 I performed at several local clubs and events. I really enjoy that but I noticed that it’s even more satisfying to organize your own events. Together with other volunteers I founded Stichting 7VNTY7 and we started with OMG! Festival. This is a small local event (+/- 1500 visitors) in the Netherlands which now takes place every year in June / July. In 2016 Stichting 7VNTY7 added a second big event to their schedule called OMG! Indoor .
During the years I build up a large & up-to-date collection of house music. Despite most of my free time is spend in organizing events I’m also still available for bookings. So if you are looking for a DJ to play (any kind of) house music at your party feel free to contact Gizo!
